The Guardian and GuardianX Series Indoor/OutdoorAir Conditioners are designed specifically for NEMA 4 and 4X enclosure applications that require washdown or are subject to outdoor storm conditions. All Guardian models have a NEMA 4 rating. The GuardianX, with a NEMA 4X rating, is available by choosing the optional Stainless Steel Shell (Option V).

With Epoxy-coated condenser coils and tubing, the closed-loop cooing system of the Guardian Series offers added security by providing an operating environment safe from harsh ambient conditions.

The Guardian Series consists of four units with heights of 15, 33, 43 and 47 inches, offering 1,000 5,000, 7,000 and 9,000 BTU/H ratings respectively. In addition to the list of standard features, these Guardian Air Conditioners are also available with a wide range of accessories and options, including short cycle protector, cooling effect detector and heater kit.

The features engineered into the Guardian/GuardianX Series make them a tamper-resistant choice for external applications. With all models UL/CUL Listed, the Guardian is an excellent choice for telecommunications, wastewater treatment, food and beverage and other challenging applications.
