CEM (Continuous Emissions Monitoring) is the continuous measurement of pollutants emitted into the atmosphere in exhaust gases from combustion or industrial processes. Highly-specialized technology is used to monitor these environmentally-hazardous pollutants. This equipment includes ionization detectors, hydrocarbon analyzer systems and monitoring equipment for ambient temperatures, ammonia, NH3, CO and CO2. The industries using this equipment include power generation, pulp and paper, medical and solid waste incinerators, refineries, wood waste boilers, steel mills, incinerators, turbines, and recovery boilers.

The electronics used to monitor the emissions are kept in rack cabinet enclosures. These electronics not only generate their own destructive heat, but the warm factory or ambient temperatures in which these enclosures are often located combine to drive the need for cooling equipment. When a greater cooling capacity or outdoor use is required, the Advantage Series (1,000 to 30,000 BTU/H) is a suitable choice. The Advantage Series combines a NEMA 12 and 3R rating with a stylish appearance featuring rounded edges, plastic grilles and no visible hardware, blending easily with contemporary enclosures.

Standard features for both model lines include a built-in condensate evaporator, thermostatic low temperature control, EMI/RFI suppressor and a durable steel enclosure with baked powder finish. Most units are offered with an environmentally-preferred, CFC-free refrigerant. All units are UL Listed or Recognized.
