The KXRP47 will provide closed-loop cooling within sealed electronics or industrial enclosures. Closed-loop cooling is required when equipment is operated in harsh environments that contain dirt, oil, humidity or corrosives, which can adversely affect the performance or ultimate survival of the components. This model features a heavy-duty painted galvanized steel enclosure, which allows for both indoor and outdoor use with no modifications to the unit.

The most recent development in enclosure Heat Exchanger design, the KXRP47, utilizes high-efficiency heat transfer elements fabricated of convoluted aluminum in two separate air paths. The air leaving the hot enclosure is directed through one side of the exchanger, where the heat passes through the element walls into the ambient-side airstream and is dissipated.

With a cooling capacity of 54 Watts per degree Fahrenheit, in a recent competitive analysis of comparable products, the KXRP47 employs less power consumption - 386 Watts - as compared to another leading brand, which employs 510 Watts. Coupled with an aesthetic presentation, the M/TAB integral mounting system, a UL and cUL approved NEMA 3R interface rating, the KXRP47 offers an efficient, easy to install, reliable operation in a variety of electronics and enclosure environments.
