TherMax TEC100 Energy Recycling Ventilators bring fresh outdoor air into a living or work space and exhaust an equal amount of stale contaminated air to provide a healthier, more comfortable environment. Ventilation is a preferred method for reducing the spread of airborne bacteria and viruses, vapors from new carpets, cleaning products and other chemical fumes, cigarette and fireplace smoke, dust and dirt, cooking odors, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, flue gases, radon and many other pollutants. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends this type of ventilation equipment for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) improvement. The units are designed to comply with ASHRAE Standard 62-89, "Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality."

AN ENERGY SAVINGS BONUS . . . . Additional air brought into the space at a rate of one-third of an air change per hour (ASHRAE 62-89) for proper IAQ requires added energy to heat or cool that air. With the TherMax TEC100 up to 75% of the heating/cooling energy of the outgoing air is transferred to the incoming airstream to lessen the impact on the user’s utility bills. An "IAQ Efficient" living or work space and energy efficiency in one compact package . . . that’s the TEC100.
