Job Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the month-end closing procedure and maintain the general ledger by department.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements for the company, in accordance with GAAP.
  • Assist in preparing Federal and State tax returns. Knowledge of corporate taxes a plus.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor manufacturing plant activity and the Material, Labor, and Overhead components currently in WIP that is updated for all completed jobs.
  • Analyze labor efficiencies.
  • Analyze the absorption rate of the overhead pool that uses both actual and standard cost applications.
  • Update the general ledger monthly for the change in inventory values.
  • Maintain the fixed assets’ software package and related depreciation for both book and tax purposes.

The Lab Technician will be using our environmental chambers to test prototype products to ensure that they meet the client's specifications and to test and improve existing products. This position will also serve as a support to our production and servicing departments as needed.

  • Assemble and test prototype units to UL standards.
