Kooltronic Packaged Double Blower Fans achieve a high degree of EMI and RFI attenuation by utilizing a honeycomb element and copper and tin-plated iron wire gasket. The honeycomb element and specialized gasket are clamped in place with precision-torqued Allen head cap screws. This permits high clamping pressures for maximum EMI attenuation without distortion. The stainless steel frame and corrosion-protected aluminum honeycomb provide uniform high attenuation and minimum internodal resistance. No conductive plastics are used. A full mounting flange provides a continuous conductive surface for interface with the user's enclosure. Kooltronic also offers a full line of EMI-Shielded Filter Grille Assemblies, independent of the blower package. These assemblies can be used at remote inlet or discharge locations, for EMI-protected air paths.
